泰国乌隆府（2016年 4月）

乌隆府位于泰国东北部，人口约150万（2000年），土地面积为1.2万平方公里，乌隆距离曼谷564公里，是伊森地区主要的商业中心。乌隆府是泰国农产品贸易中心，也是东北地区的交通枢纽。这里风景秀丽，气候宜人，是一个具有悠久历史的旅游胜地。20世纪70年代，考古学家在班清地区发掘出了距今4000多年的青铜器，还有化石、工具和大量陶器、青铜器等，使该地区成为最吸引游客的地区之一。兰花是泰国的国花，倍受当地人重视，乌隆府为热带季风气候，温暖湿润的气候适宜种植数千种的兰花，当地的“兰花园”吸引了各国游客前来观赏。

Udon Thani, Thailand (April, 2016)

Udon Thani is located in the northeastern area of Thailand, with a population of about 1.5 million ( in 2000) and a land area of 12,000 square kilometers. It is 564 kilometers away from Bangkok and it is the main business center of Isan region.  Udon Thani is the agricultural trade center of Thailand and the transportation hub of the northeastern area. With beautiful scenery and pleasant climate, it is a tourist attraction with a long history. In the 1970s, archaeologists excavated bronzes which has more than 4000-year history at the Ban Chiang site, along with fossils, tools, and a large number of pottery and bronzes, making the area one of the most attractive areas for tourists. As the national flower of Thailand, orchids are highly valued by local people. The warm and humid climate here makes Udon Thani a perfect place for planting thousands kinds of orchids. The local "Orchid Garden" has attracted tourists from all over the world.

In April 2016, Luoyang and Udon Thani established a link as friendly exchange cities.
