乌兹别克斯坦布哈拉市(2019年6月)
布哈拉是乌兹别克斯坦第三大城市,是中亚最古老城市之一。该市面积150平方公里,人口约30万。布哈拉保存有多个王朝的宫殿、清真寺等古建筑,有“博物馆城”之美誉,为乌国旅游胜地,是古丝绸之路上沟通东西方文明的商路上一颗闪亮的明珠。
2016年6月21日,国家主席习近平对乌兹别克斯坦进行国事访问时,参观了“丝绸之路活化石”布哈拉古城。乌方向我方提出,希望在中国丝绸之路的节点城市中为布哈拉市建立一个友好城市,更好地推动“一带一路”倡议。
2017年5月12日,在中乌两国元首的见证下,两市在北京人民大会堂签署了缔结友好城市备忘录,这标志着洛阳市与布哈拉市正式缔结为友好城市。
Bukhara, Uzbekistan (June 2019)
Bukhara is the third largest city in Uzbekistan, with a population of about 300,000. It is one of the oldest cities in Central Asia, covering an area of 150 square kilometers. Bukhara has preserved palaces, mosques and other ancient buildings of many dynasties, and thus has the reputation of the "Museum City".It is a tourist attraction of Uzbekistan, and a shining pearl on the ancient Silk Road that communicates Eastern and Western civilizations.
On June 21, 2016, during PresidentXi Jinping’s visit to Uzbekistan, Xi visited the ancient city of Bukhara, the "living fossil of the Silk Road". And Uzbekistanproposed that it hoped to establish a sister city relationshipbetween Bukhara and one of the node cities of the Chinese Silk Road, so as to better promote the "the Belt and Road" initiative.
On May 12, 2017, witnessed by the heads of China and Uzbekistan, both sides signed the memorandum on establishing sister city relations between the two cities at the Great Hall of the people in Beijing, which marked Luoyang and Bukhara became sister cities formally.
