拉克罗斯位于美国威斯康星州西部，临近密西西比河，1840年建居民点，1856年设市，是重要的铁路枢纽和农业地区的贸易中心，水运和空运比较发达，该市主要工业有空调设备、汽车和飞机仪表、卡车、拖车、农业机器、服装、塑料制品等。拉克罗斯市的教育体制健全，是一座远近闻名的大学城，威斯康星大学、维特尔波大学、西部技术学院都位于该市。

La Crosse is located in the west of Wisconsin in the United States, close to the Mississippi River. It was built as a residential area in 1840 and set up as a city in 1856. It is an important railway hub and a trade center in agricultural areas. Water transportation and air transportation are relatively developed.
Its main industries include air conditioning equipment, automobile and aircraft instruments, trucks, trailers, agricultural machinery, clothing, plastic products, etc. La Crosse has a sound education system and is a well-known university city. The University of Wisconsin,ViterboUniversity and the Western Institute of Technology are all located in the city.
The downtown area of La Crosse is bustling with bars and clubs. It is an ideal place to experience the local lifestyle. The architectural style of the city is unique, and many buildings have been listed in the National Historical Sites Directory. Various festival activities throughout the year are also a major feature, such as water entertainment festival, motorcycle rally, Jazz Festival, folk festival, etc.
